Great Cars For Medical Reps
I have come across a lot of reps in my day. Many are provided company vehicles, others are given allowances to buy their own, and still others who own their vehicle with no allowance.
For those of you with an allowance, I am going to make a couple suggestions.
- Do not get an expensive car (ex: Escalade, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Infinity)
- You do not want your accounts seeing you drive around in them
- Whatever you get, keep it clean as impressions are everything
- Cars I recommend
- Nissan Armada-Big, looks good, can fit a lot of gear in it, and not in the “expensive” category
- Buick Rendezvous- Don’t laugh…Buicks are not just for old people. The Rendezvous has a large inside with high ceilings and a big trunk.
- Tahoe- A nice looking vehicle and again, you can fit a lot of trash in it.
I cannot make it more clear, do NOT buy a flashy expensive vehicles. Your accounts will eventually see it and you want them thinking you are struggling. Remember, you need their orders urgently.
